Senior Consultant Global Access Advisory

DRG Abacus a Part of Clarivate is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the global access advisory team. This is a new role as part of our continued growth in 2021. As a Senior Consultant you will work with a truly global team and will be responsible for the following;

  • Work with project leadership to define project scope and develop approach
  • Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project related findings and coordinating allocated project team
  • Synthesize findings, develop recommendations and communicate results to clients and team
  • Provide independent project management and strategic advice to clients in order to provide effective solutions to their market access and HEOR business needs
  • Contribute to the delivery of multiple projects to a high standard and in line with company SOPs
  • Continually strive to extend our relationships and work streams within companies with whom we are working
  • Contribute significantly to the attainment of yearly revenue/profit targets as defined within KPIs for the Senior Consultant role
  • Coach and mentor junior team members
  • Independently develop proposals for new business from scratch; Coordinate and contribute to the collation and submission of RFIs (Requests for Information)
  • Identify business opportunities with new clients and contribute to the overall profitability, success and positive image of DRG Abacus
  • Lead on and contribute to Thought Leadership initiatives to support the business
  • Contribute and lead initiatives to support company strategic direction



  • 2:1 or above Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (or related) discipline (a higher degree is desirable but not essential)


  • Experience in a similar role with a minimum of 5-7 years relevant work experience in pharmaceutical Market Access & Pricing and/or experience in global Market Access & Pricing research and consulting
  • Experience in a similar role where you have had responsibility for managing projects and being the key point of contact for the client, as well as business development responsibilities and involvement in corporate strategy initiatives
  • Experience in responding to RFP’s (Request for Proposal) and in presenting pitches
  • Successful experience of new business development
  • Experience in delivering multiple of the DRG Abacus key deliverables such as global value dossiers, value stories/packs, health technology assessments (HTAs), systematic review, clinical outcomes assessment (COA), and interactive/digital value argument presentations including budget impact models, for example
  • Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry
