Integration and accountable care have slowed down significantly as providers have pulled back from the cusp of greater risk-sharing; that could leave Colorado Medicaid’s Accountable Care Collaborative as Denver’s main engine for greater risk going forward. Kaiser’s expanded relationship with SCL Health indicates the integrated health insurer is sticking with its long-running hospital partner for the long term.
