DRG Digital/Manhattan Research, a Decision Resources Group company, provides strategic and tactical advisory services as well as syndicated research reports focused on digital health and marketing trends among consumers and healthcare professionals in 25 countries around the world. Clients include top pharmaceutical companies, marketing agencies, health and medical publishers and technology providers.
The company is hiring a Consultant to join our multichannel insights and customer engagement group in our London office. This role is ideal for a candidate with digital/multichannel or life science industry experience who is passionate about synthesising client business questions to identify and execute on the best approach to address them. The Consultant will work alongside senior members of the team to scope, manage, and deliver syndicated and custom solutions, with an expectation of managing projects end-to-end. This role will focus on creating content solutions based on primary research and digital analytics methodologies, while also requiring regular client interaction; includes people management with an opportunity for advancement; and offers the ability to influence both strategic and tactical marketing decisions within global pharmaceutical and life science organisations.

Duties and responsibilities include;

  • Lead content role developing analysis on multichannel behaviour and preferences of key client customer groups – physicians, patients, and payers – and the implications these insights have for life science companies and marketers
  • Lead presentations and workshops to help integrate analysis insights and customised recommendations into client setting
  • Analyse information across multiple datasets and methodologies to draw data-driven conclusions and provide actionable recommendations to clients
  • Support sales and business development activities, including inquiry and product content support for existing clients and writing proposals for bespoke engagements
  • Promote thought leadership and develop an industry presence through conference attendance, blogs, and written reports
  • Develop competency across other areas of Decision Resources Groups product and service coverage, including market access, analytics, and med-tech
  • Opportunity to manage or mentor junior staff
  • Utilise quantitative market research and various digital analytics methodologies aligned to addressing the client or product need


  • 4-6 years of industry experience in a related position such as consulting or market research
  • Bachelor’s degree in a life science, business or related field is required; advanced degree preferred
  • Proficiency across various research and analytical/consulting methodologies; experience with both quantitative and qualitative primary research required, experience with statistical analysis and modelling preferred
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and organisation skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Considered approach to storytelling through analysis and basic content design skills required
  • Competency with data analysis software and crosstabs (e.g. SPSS)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)
