We are looking for a Consultant to join our systematic review center of excellence reporting to the Technical Lead. Based from Bicester, you will be responsible for generating of new business for the SR team, undertake and supervise multiple high-quality systematic review research projects, develop and train junior systematic review analysts and manage and enhance the systematic reviews process.
Duties and Responsibilities Intellectual planning and design of SR projects at proposal writing stage To undertake and supervise SR projects (from design including data extraction, qualitative summary, meta analyses and report writing), supervise junior analysts and researchers in the project team To provide guidance and design input of appropriate statistical analyses Project management, including responsibilities such as;
Project planning (e.g Gantt chart)
Client engagement and management
Project tracking - technical and financial
To liaise closely with the Technical Lead, ensuring a consistently high quality of research and reporting Business development (proposals, pitches, lead generation) to achieve revenues targets General roles and responsibilities Communicate with appropriate business lead in a transparent and reliable manner Undertake be-spoke research and data collection as required Meet project deadlines in a timely manner Telephone, email and in-person liaison with co-authors, colleagues and clients Conform to house styles and processes Training and coaching of more junior members of the team Define and enhance process for SR Requirements Qualifications, skills and experience At least a Bachelor's degree within life sciences; preferred Master's degree within life sciences Key skills and experience Significant experience (we would usually expect this to be a minimum of 6 years' experience) in all aspects of Systematic Review, 2 years of this working in consultancy or pharmaceutical Named author on at least 5 SR publications An excellent understanding of the process of SR High levels of organisation and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication Excellent presentation skills, including comprehensive knowledge or PowerPoint Skilled with Microsoft Word and proficient Microsoft Excel Comprehensive knowledge of Endnote, RefMan Proven business development capability Experience of MTCs Experience of people management Benefits
Base salary in the range of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum. The closing date for applications is 28th November 2018
