Analyst/Senior Analyst, Medtech Insight

What will you do?

  • Author comprehensive market research reports that provide quantitative and qualitative insights on specific medical device markets around the world.
  • Build market models by leveraging DRG’s proprietary healthcare datasets, while incorporating public financial, regulatory, and government data.
  • Interview industry stakeholders and medical professionals to contextualize data and form insights.
  • Understand the worldview and pain points of DRG clients, working closely with them as a problem-solver. From Fortune 500 companies to smaller startups, you will converse with high-profile clients regularly and be expected to both present and defend conclusions to them.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration on larger projects impacting multiple teams.

What do you know?

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH).
  • Experience/strong interest in market research methodologies, including analytical modeling and forecasting
  • Understanding of how businesses work, such as the concepts of revenue and cost. Able to read and interpret income statements.
  • Able to communicate effectively and explain complex ideas using clear and concise language, including through written communication.
  • Able to deliver an effective presentation.
  • Understanding of medical device markets and healthcare landscape is an asset.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills to derive meaningful insights from large and complex datasets.
  • Experience/strong interest in data analytical tools such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau is an asset.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Preference is given to candidates from analytical disciplines, including but not limited o science, business, and engineering.
  • Senior positions require at least two years of client-facing experience in healthcare or related industries. Title will be determined based on the skills and experience of a successful applicant.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
