Overall Purpose of Role:

Under the supervision of the SVA of Data and Analytics, the Sales Associate, Data & Analytics will be tasked with increasing business opportunities within existing customers and identifying potential new clients. This will involve working closely with Vice Presidents, Directors and Global Key Account Directors, as well as DRG Product Specialists, to penetrate and expand existing networks, uncover new contacts, find new budget holders and expand DRGA’s data and analytics footprint in the healthcare marketplace.


  • Ability to develop, maintain, and grow new client relationships
  • Collaborate with teams across DRG to leverage Subject Matter Experts and Thought Leadership to promote DRG services regardless of business unit
  • Working knowledge of the US healthcare ecosystem
  • Work closely with DRGA Operations team to ensure client needs are identified and scoped properly
  • Accurately maintain customer data and manage assigned territory via Salesforce.com; maintain all necessary paperwork and manage any and all reporting required for territory management
  • Effectively re-engage with dormant clients
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge across a range of DRG’s products and services to identify new business opportunities
  • Effectively communicate via phone, video, and live meetings
  • Ability to process and communicate complex information

Education, Experience, and Competencies Required:

  • BA or relevant work experience
  • Strong interest in Life Sciences or pharmaceutical industry or Experience selling into the Life Sciences sector; Biotech or Pharma strongly preferred
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-starter with energy, drive and curiosity
  • Team player who is willing to take but also proactively provide direction and ideas
  • Overnight travel – approx. 35%
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing dynamics and evolving products and solutions; comfortable with change
