Director, Data & Analytics Description
The Director reports directly to the commercial lead for DRG’s RWE division and has two major areas of responsibility.
Firstly, the Director will be responsible for the ongoing helping drive business to the commercial data & analytics opportunities which includes both pharmaceutical and life science companies. The Director will develop and implement a sales and customer satisfaction remit on behalf of RWE analytics. Success will be measured both by achieving revenue targets for 2018, as well as by developing and implementing clear customer effectiveness to improve and strengthen positioning for 2018 and 2019.
Secondly, and in coordination with leadership, and other product solution teams the Director will take on responsibility for continuously improving the commercial strategy for RWE Data & Analytics while improving internal lead generation across business units.
Responsibilities: Take accountability for associated revenue targets Build short-term tactics for 2018 Develop long-term strategy for commercial improvement based on market demand and competitor positioning, and lay out associated roadmaps Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Development teams to drive sales and manage delivery along with customer satisfaction Maintain visibility on customer needs and satisfaction in service of developing improved products and filling unmet needs Identify potential data gaps and recommend solutions Maintain understanding of the competitive landscape Act as point of synergy across business units Report on financials and strategy to senior leadership in DRG A When required, take on direct responsibility for select key macro initiatives within DRG A Requirements Qualifications and experience: Undergraduate degree required Advanced degree (MBA, MS or PhD) strongly preferred, 5-10 years of big data marketing or other relevant experience in the healthcare, biopharma, or business intelligence industries Ability to interact and build relationships with, as well as influence, co-workers and senior leadership Ability to work well in a fast-moving, changing environment and meet requisite deadlines Experience in analyzing and distilling highly-complex issues for a C-suite audience A flexible and collaborative approach to work Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) Location:The position can work from the Boston office and will include travel to other DRG locations as-needed (expected 20%). Travel to other corporate locations, including international offices in the UK and India, may be required. Benefits
