We’re hiring and as part of our continued growth in Europe we are seeking experienced Senior Consultants to join the London office working in the Consulting team. If you have prior working experience in either consulting or in the bio-pharmaceutical industry, with experience in one or more of the following service areas: Pricing & market access, commercial strategy or new product planning then we’d love to hear from you!

Senior Consultants (SC) at DRG Consulting work across our life sciences strategy consulting practice which includes the following domain areas: Pricing & Market Access, Commercial Strategy, and New Product Planning.

Senior Consultants play a vital and important role on project teams and manage strategic consulting engagements to provide insights and recommendations focused on critical issues for our clients. Senior Consultants lead and conduct research and analysis to support client work, participate in proposal / business development and coach junior staff.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with colleagues to project manage all aspects of assigned consulting engagements including execution of key project activities such as group moderation/facilitation and complex analysis
  • Lead and guide the overall work plan including oversight of Primary and Secondary research, qualitative research (e.g. KOL interviews) and quantitative analysis (e.g. forecasting and projections) to obtain key insights and findings for clients
  • Oversee the work of more junior team members including Associates and Consultants on client projects
  • Produce quality client deliverables with minimal supervision and maintain high client satisfaction through proactive client interaction and engagement
  • Work with senior staff to promote consistent operations, efficient use of resources and knowledge sharing / best practices
  • Build therapeutic area expertise to apply during client engagements and thought leadership initiatives
  • Demonstrate commitment to personal and professional development through trainings and/or unstructured sessions, as well as mentoring junior staff to assist in their growth
  • Contribute to the social environment by executing assigned firm-building activities and assisting with recruiting top talent

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life science, business or related field is required; MS/PhD is preferred
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant consulting or biopharmaceutical experience required with an emphasis on strategic consulting
  • Ideal candidates will have experience with one or more of the following service areas: Pricing & Market Access, Commercial Strategy, New Product Planning
  • Demonstrated project management experience and skills along with strong communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
  • Proficiency across various consulting and research methodologies, including the execution of quantitative and qualitative analysis, primary & secondary research, and analytic modeling and forecasting
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong exposure to and comfort with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
