IBM’s Watson project is working on “cognitive advertising,” wherein ads will be able to answer your questions. Cognitive ads from Campbell’s Soup, Unilever and GSK (OTC) will debut on the Weather Company’s websites in the fall (Fierce has more on GSK’s participation). Watson is also working with the American Diabetes Association, analyzing and modeling hundreds of thousands of patient records, which complements its work with Novo Nordisk, Medtronic and CVS health, no doubt.
