Former Datamonitor CEO to Focus on Global Expansion

August 8, 2012—Burlington, Mass.—Decision Resources Group, one of the world’s leading research and advisory firms focusing on healthcare insights, analysis and consulting, announced today that Mark Meek has joined the company as President of the Decision Resources Group Biopharma Business Unit. Mr. Meek comes to Decision Resources Group from Progressive Digital Media Group, a media company producing premium business information, research services and marketing solutions, where he served as CEO. Mr. Meek was also CEO of Datamonitor, an international business information firm owned by Informa, where he grew the organization’s revenues, improved product quality and increased margins with a focus on global expansion.

Mr. Meek will be responsible for managing and expanding Decision Resources Group’s Biopharma Business Unit which currently includes the following companies: Arlington Medical Resources (AMR), BioTrends Research Group, Decision Resources and Manhattan Research. With a strong commercial base, Mr. Meek’s major focus will be spearheading efforts into the crucial emerging markets as well as solidifying the company’s infrastructure in Europe.

Mr. Meek received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Cape Town and prior to joining Datamonitor worked at two of Great Britain’s flagship newspapers, The Guardian and The Independent.
